Graduate Transfer Assistant

Reporting directly to the Senior Transfer/Pathways Academic Advisor, and indirectly to the Director of Academic Advising, the Graduate Assistant (GA) will serve as a multifaceted asset to the Center for Student Academic Success.

  • Assist the Senior Transfer/Pathways Academic Advisor with data entry tasks for initial transfer credit evaluations.
  • Assist the Senior Transfer/Pathways Academic Advisor with monitoring the transfer@rwu.edu email.
  • Assist in scheduling transfer map meetings on behalf of the Senior Transfer/Pathways Academic Advisor with newly accepted transfer students.
  • Assist the Senior Transfer/Pathways Academic Advisor with Transfer Student centered programming.
  • Field questions concerning academic resources and university policies by monitoring Advising email (when applicable)
  • Work the staff front desk as needed
  • Assist with restocking of office supplies as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current 小蓝视频 graduate student
  • Be in good academic and judicial standing with the University and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality policies (and sign confidentiality agreement) when working with students and accessing student records.
  • Strong interpersonal, phone, and email skills

Must be a current graduate student at 小蓝视频. This role will be available for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Approximately 8-10 hours/week paid at $20/hour up to $4,000 per academic year.
